Edit Landing Page

Landing Page: Add a Buy Button2023-03-07T15:04:50+00:00
  1. Admin Dashboard, on the left navigation, you will see Pages and click on that option.
  2. Find the page called Home or yours may be called (Book Name) Landing Page, and select on it.
  3. On the blue bar(s) find the section called Book Information. Depending, you may see labelled collapsed blue bars, or you may see the expanded blue bars. If they are closed, scroll to the section you want to edit: Page Title.
  4. You will now see the elements that you can edit.

On the image below, your landing page should look similar. Depending on your project, it may look slightly different.

On the above image, you are seeing five elements:

  1. Section Title
  2. Amazon Buy Button
  3. iBooks Buy Button
  4. Kobo Buy Button
  5. Nook Buy Button

The Amazon, iBook, Kobo and Nook are button elements.

Move your mouse over to any one of the columns that is holding a button element. You will notice at the top of each column are a set of options and you will click on the , which is the 3 icon to duplicate the column.

See the image below, and which icon is highlighted.

It doesn’t matter which column you duplicate, because you can move it around.

Once the column is duplicated, locate the duplicate column and within that section hover over the button element and click on the icon.

  1. Button URL: Delete the old URL and update it with the new one.
  2. Button Text: You can change the title of the button. For example instead of Amazon, you can change it to Amazon US, Amazon CA, Amazon UK etc 
  3. Click on Save.

If you need more buy buttons duplicate as many as you need.

 

Reposition The Columns

Now you can reposition the new column within the column white space. Do not click on the button element, or else you will drag the button element and not the entire column. The button element sits within the column.

View the image below and see the highlighted space within the column. When you move your mouse/cursor into the column white space, your mouse will now display four arrows. Click and drag the column where you see fit.

 

Delete a Column

In the same way you duplicated a column, holding a button element, you will find the column you want to delete. At the top of the column are options and click on the trash can icon.

When you are finished changing this section, always make sure that you Update the page.

  4. You will now see the elements that you can edit.

What would you like to edit:

  1. Book Title and Summary
  2. Buy Links/Buttons

 

Edit Book Title and Summary

On the image below, your landing page should look similar. Depending on your project, it may look slightly different.

On the above image, you are seeing two elements:

  1. Book Title
  2. Blurb

Depending on your project, you have had a subtitle underneath the Book Title. Remember, your page may not look exactly like the image above because each website has its own requirements.

Hover over the element you want to edit and you will see a icon and click on that. Go through and change the content and always make sure that you click on Save.

Upon editing the buy buttons, once you are in the settings:

  1. Admin Dashboard, on the left navigation, you will see Pages and click on that option.
  2. Find the page called Home or yours may be called (Book Name) Landing Page, and select on it.
  3. On the blue bar(s) find the section called Testimonials. Depending, you may see labelled collapsed blue bars, or you may see the expanded blue bars. If they are closed, scroll to the section you want to edit: Page Title.
  4. You will now see the elements that you can edit.

On the image below, your landing page should look similar. Depending on your project, it may look slightly different.

Note: Keep the testimonials to 3 at the most and these testimonials are your book reviews. What reader’s thought of the book. Maybe early readers/beta readers or straight Amazon, Goodreads reviews. Yes, it okay to use reviews from Amazon and Goodreads without asking the reader permission.

Hover over the testimonial element and you will see a icon and click on that.

To your left you will see three reviews titled Amazon reviews and beside each review there will be a set of options. Figure out which review you want to edit: first, middle or last and once you know, click on the pen icon beside that review.

Scroll down until you get the text field, and delete or edit whatever is within the content.

Edit the content and always make sure that you click on Save.

Don’t forget to also Update the page.

  1. Admin Dashboard, on the left navigation, you will see Pages and click on that option.
  2. Find the page called Home or yours may be called (Book Name) Landing Page, and select on it.
  3. On the blue bar(s) find the section called Book Cover. Depending, you may see labelled collapsed blue bars, or you may see the expanded blue bars. If they are closed, scroll to the section you want to edit: Page Title.
  4. You will now see the elements that you can edit.

On the image below, your landing page should look similar. Depending on your project, it may look slightly different.

There are two design elements:

  1. Download the first chapter…etc
  2. </> Code Block

The first element is the subtitle, telling the visitors to download your book and the second, is the newsletter form. The action the visitor will take to receive the eBook.

If you want to edit the verbiage, hover over the element and you will see a icon and click on that. Same thing if you want to edit the Newsletter code, hover over the </> Code Block and click on the pen icon.

Edit the content and always make sure that you click on Save.

  1. Admin Dashboard, on the left navigation, you will see Pages and click on that option.
  2. Find the page called Home or yours may be called (Book Name) Landing Page, and select on it.
  3. On the blue bar(s) find the section called Book Cover. Depending, you may see labelled collapsed blue bars, or you may see the expanded blue bars. If they are closed, scroll to the section you want to edit: Page Title.
  4. You will now see the elements that you can edit.

Hover over the image, and you will see a  icon and click on that.

  1. Click on Remove and then Upload.
  2. When the new box loads, click on Upload Files and then Select Files.
  3. Locate the new book cover on your computer and upload it to your website.
  4. To the right, under Attachment Details scroll down to Size and make sure that the option is set to Full Size.
  5. Click on Insert Into Page

Edit the content and always make sure that you click on Save.

  3. You will now be redirected to the page and all the content. Depending, you may see labelled collapsed blue bars, or you may see the expanded blue bars. If they are closed, scroll to the section you want to edit: Page Title.
  4. You will now see the elements that you can edit.

The two title elements you see on the above image:

  1. Introducing A New Book
  2. A Brand New Sexy Romance

Those two title elements, you can edit it as you wish.

Hover over the chosen title, and you will see a  icon and click on that. Edit the content and always make sure that you click on Save.

Don’t forget to also Update the page.
