In this article, we are going to show you how to Edit The Blog Content.

Let’s begin
  1. Admin Dashboard, on the left navigation, you will see Pages and click on that option.
  2. Find the page called Blog, and select on it.
  3. Scroll down to find the blue bars, the section labelled Blog Content. If you’re blue bars are collapsed, find the section Page Title and click on the ⮟ icon. That will expand the section. If your blue bars are already expanded, then you can move on.

Your section should look similar to the below image. Depending on your project, it may look slightly different.

As you can see from the above image, where it says Blog, that the Blog element and that is what we are going to edit.

Hover over the blog element, and a set of new options will appear. Click on the   icon and and change the content.

Before you start changing things, please read below to understand the settings:

  1. Blog Layout: This is the front layout on the blog page.
  2. Posts Per Page: It should be listed as ‘-1’. This means that unlimited posts will be displayed.
  3. Post Status: This will display whether you posts are: Published, Drafted, Scheduled, Private and Pending.
  4. Pull Posts By: Display posts through category or tags/keywords.
  5. Categories: Leave blank for all categories, or select a specific category.
  6. Exclude Categories: Hide certain categories.
  7. Order By: Date, Post Title, Author, Number of Comments etc
  8. Order: Oldest to newest or vice versa.
  9. Show Thumbnail: Display the featured image.
  10. Show Title.
  11. Link Title To Post: Redirect to a another page, once a viewer clicks on the title.
  12. Content Display: Decide how much of the content you want displayed. Excerpt, full content or is completely disabled.
  13. Show Meta Info: How much of the post information do you want displayed. If this option is blue, your meta options will be displayed on #14 – #19.
  14. Meta Show Author Name.
  15. Meta Show Categories.
  16. Meta Show Comment Count.
  17. Meta Show Date.
  18. Meta Show Read More.
  19. Meta Show Tags.
  20. Pagination Type: Your viewers can stay on the same page and view all your posts.

Make sure that you click on Save.

Don’t forget to also Update the page.
